Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain both front-end and back-end applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project development and execution.
Develop and maintain our Django-based backend API within a microservice architecture.
Write, modify, and test backend code to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
Conduct troubleshooting and debugging across the stack to resolve issues efficiently.
Build responsive and interactive frontend components using Next.js and React.
Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional and visually appealing code.
Optimize existing frontend codebase for performance and user experience.
Design and integrate website-related code to deliver engaging websites.
Develop and maintain website architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Create and optimize website content using graphics, databases, animations, and other tools.
Prepare mock-ups and storyboards for project visualization and planning.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of development best practices.
Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
Work closely with the team in an Agile development environment to meet project goals.
Research and evaluate interactive media, software products, and emerging technologies.
Conduct tests and implement security and quality controls for web and software applications.

Qualifications:

Expertise in JavaScript, React, and Next.js for frontend development.
Proven experience with the Django REST framework for backend API development.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience in RESTful API design and implementation.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL for database management and optimization.
Experience with microservice architecture and Kafka message queues for event-driven systems.
Familiarity with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes for CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications.
Knowledge of AWS cloud platform and experience in deploying applications on AWS.
Strong understanding of web security best practices and secure coding techniques.
Proven experience in full-stack web development with both frontend and backend technologies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative approach to development.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to company coding practices.
Experience with WebSocket and Server-Sent Events (SSE) implementations.

Frontend Developer

This is a full-time role for a Frontend Developer at quickQR located in Mississauga, ON. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with front-end web development, including coding, connecting frontend to the backend, designing user interfaces, and implementing responsive web design.
